The 2009-10 Greater Orlando Actors Theatre Board of Directors:
- Caitlin Bowden Carney - Caitlin has worked for many years on and behind the stage, appearing in multiple shows and stage managing and directing many more. She is a resident company member of Orlando Theatre Project. When she is not participating in theatre she is an active student at UCF studying Psychology and Marketing.
- Paul Castaneda - A founding member of GOAT, Paul is originally from New York City. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from Pace University with a B.A. in Acting and a Business Minor. He has held various positions in Sales, Sales Management and Sales Training both in New York and Orlando and currently is Sales Director for American Computer Aided Engineering in Maitland. Artistically, Paul got started at a young age, appearing in two seasons of Sesame Street. He went on to act in, direct and produce various shows in New York. Locally, Paul has appeared in shows for Theatre Downtown and the Orlando Fringe Festival and has directed shows for GOAT, Theatre Downtown, Playwrights Round Table and the Orlando Fringe Festival.
- Leesa Halstead - Leesa started acting at the age of ten. She moved to New York City in 1987 where she attended the American Academy of Dramatic Arts and the Film Acting School. After apprenticing at the Harold Clurman Theatre she moved back to Florida and settled in Orlando where she worked with Theatre Downtown, Civic Theatre, Icehouse Theatre, Manhattan South Studio Theatre and her own Rendezvous Theatre. Leesa has worked in film and television and theatre for over 20 years as an actress, producer and director. She is a member of the Screen Actors Guild. In addition, Leesa was the creator and owner of Club Swank, a 1940's style bar and nightclub. Currently she works at the Disney Hollywood Studios and teaches acting.
- David Strauss - David is originally from Long Island, New York. He graduated magna cum laude with a B.A. in political science from Brooklyn College and a J.D. from the University Of Virginia School Of Law. After leaving the legal practice, he spent five years as IT Manager and Webmaster for parts.com, an Internet commerce portal. In 2002, he founded Orlando Organics, the oldest organic home delivery service in the southeast. He is currently President and CEO of the company. After appearing in multiple shows while in school, he returned to the theater after moving to Orlando and has appeared in shows for Theatre Downtown, Playwrights Round Table, the Center Players, the Orlando Fringe Festival and GOAT. As a playwright, he has had multiple shows produced in Orlando over the past several years.
